23. NIKOO-D Combination of naproxen and domperidone in a tablet formulation. ABSTRACT NIKOO-D provides adults with significant anti-inflammatory pain Relief and supports GI (gastrointestinal) tolerance of naproxen by improving gastric motility and supporting healthy gastric motility at the same time. NIKOO-D is available through prescription only. DETAILED DESCRIPTION NIKOO-D is a standard combination tablet (naproxen/domeperidone) providing robust anti-inflammatory; analgesic; antipyretic effects and prevention of potential GI adverse events associated with traditional NSAID therapy. NAPROXEN works as an analgesic by inhibiting COX (cyclooxygenase) enzymes (COX-1 ; COX-2) to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid via the inhibition of COX; DOMPERIDONE is in the class of prokinetics that increase gastric emptying time and delay the onset of n/d (nausea and vomiting) in individuals receiving NAPROXEN.
