Product Description:

In this case, P-4T PLUS Tab contains an exclusive formulation that combines Pantoprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) with Ondansetron (a serotonin receptor antagonist). This product has two approved uses: as an antiemetic agent and to provide effective acid suppression. The pantoprazole component allows for consistent inhibition of the secretion of gastric acid, while the ondansetron component inhibits the receptor mediated response to serotonin (a neurotransmitter) upon binding to the gut and central nervous system; therefore, both of these actions may be useful to patients undergoing chemotherapy or post-operative recovery, as well as those experiencing acid induced nausea/vomiting.
