Azithroat-500 is an antibiotic tablet and belong to macrolide group of antibiotics. It contains Azithromycin 500mg. It stops the proliferation of harmful bacteria in the body. It is often prescribed for chest infections, throat infections, ear infections and some skin conditions. Also, it is used against certain sexually transmitted bacterial infections. Dosing once a day is simple to follow. Never stop the course even if you feel better. This is a prescription and should not be taken on your own.
