Product Description:
It contains 600mg of Linezolid, a versatile oxazolidinone antibiotic for serious Gram-positive infections. It is usually reserved for infections that do not respond to other antibiotics, including MRSA and vancomycin-resistant infections. Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by blocking: Use: Gonococcal infections and other gram negative bacilli Also inhibits DNA strand separation and repair, resulting in inhibition of nucleic acid metabolism. Appropriate when monitored closely by medical staff in a hospital or intensive care setting.

How It Works:

MOA: Linezolid binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit, specifically to the same region in 23S ribosomal RNA that forms ribosome with a total size of 70S for protein synthesis.

Dosage & Administration:

• Dosage: 600mg as required, generally in two divided doses
• Could be taken with or without a meal
• Duration decided by treating physician

Precautions:

• Avoid serotonergic drugs during treatment
• Perform blood counts if used long term
• Inform doctor for all medicines which are taking presently

• Nausea
