LACTIBRUM is an osmotic laxative solution used to treat constipation and facilitate the elimination of toxins from the body in cases of hepatic encephalopathy. The active ingredient helps to soften stool by causing water to be drawn into the colon, thus increasing stool bulk. Because of its high tolerance rate, LACTIBRUM can be used for both longer-term and short-term treatment of constipation in adults and children. LACTIBRUM can be prescribed by a physician only.
