Product Description:

The active ingredients in POVIBLISS MS topical therapeutic ointment include Povidone Iodine (an antiseptic), Sucralfate (mucoprotective), and Metronidazole (an antibacterial/antiprotozoal). The antiseptic activity of Povidone Iodine is developed to cover all spectrum of an organism (i.e. bacterium, fungus and virus). The protective layer of Sucralfate allows for mucosal surfaces to heal faster than normal. Metronidazole's efficacy is targeted at anaerobic bacteria that are considered to be primarily responsible for causing wound infections.
