Product Description:

T 4T AM is a combination antihypertensive tablet containing Telmisartan 40mg and Amlodipine 5mg. It is prescribed to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. By combining two different mechanisms, it provides better blood pressure control than either medicine alone.

How It Works:

Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from narrowing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more freely. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes the walls of blood vessels directly. Together, they bring blood pressure down effectively from two different angles.

Dosage & Administration:

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily
• Continue the full course and do not stop even if blood pressure feels normal
• Take at the same time every day, with or without food, for consistent control

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver problems, or are pregnant before taking this medicine
• Do not stop this medicine abruptly as it may cause sudden rise in blood pressure
• Monitor blood pressure regularly at home or as advised by your doctor

Possible Side Effects:

• Ankle swelling or puffiness
• Dizziness or lightheadedness, especially on standing up
• Flushing or warmth in the face
• Headache or fatigue
