Product Description:
Ciprozen-500 consists of Ciprofloxacin 500mg, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is extensively administered. It acts on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Used in UTI's, chest infections, typhoid fever and GI related infections. It is administered orally, usually once daily or twice a day according to a doctor's advice. Do not take it with antacids or dairy products. Finish the whole course even of free of symptoms early.

How It Works:

Ciprofloxacin acts by inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, both of which are crucial enzymes for bacterial DNA replication as it comes into contact with the bacteria causing their death.

Dosage & Administration:

• 500mg once or twice a day as directed
• Do not coadministrate antacids or dairy products
• You must take the full course without interruption

Precautions:

• PROHIBITIVELY in tendon cases
• Use cautiously in elderly patients
• Call your physician if you have any problems with your liver or kidneys.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure
