Product Description:
CFELLOW CV TAB, contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200mg & Potassium Clavulanate 125mg. This dynamic duo goes after infections that will respond to treatment with traditional antibiotics. Cefpodoxime acts on the bacterial cell wall and Clavulanate prevents resistance to Cefpodoxime. It is typically indicated for upper and lower respiratory infections, complicated UTIs, and skin infections. Complete the whole course as directed.

How It Works:

Cefpodoxime Proxetil inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall while Potassium Clavulanate binds irreversibly to beta-lactamase enzyme that alters the sensitivity of bacteria.

Dosage & Administration:

• Less stomach upset, so can take with food
• Do not crush or break the tablet, unless told otherwise

Take two tablets twice daily or as directed by your doctor.

Precautions:

• Patients with CrCl < 30 ml/min
• History of allergy should be given to the doctor
• Avoid alcohol during treatment
