Product Description:

Numit 8 DT Tablet contains Nimesulide 100mg in a dispersible tablet form. Nimesulide is a selective COX-2 inhibitor NSAID that provides effective relief from pain, inflammation, and fever. The dispersible form dissolves easily in water, allowing faster absorption and quicker onset of action. It is used for short-term management of acute pain, fever, and inflammatory conditions in adults.

How It Works:

Nimesulide preferentially inhibits COX-2 enzymes, blocking the formation of prostaglandins that mediate pain and inflammation, while having relatively lower activity on COX-1, which protects the stomach lining. This selective action gives Nimesulide its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties with somewhat reduced gastrointestinal side effects compared to older NSAIDs.

Dosage & Administration:

• Take Numit 8 DT only as prescribed by your doctor ? Nimesulide is recommended for short-term use only
• Dissolve the tablet in a small glass of water before taking; do not swallow whole if it is a dispersible formulation
• Complete the prescribed course but do not extend use beyond what the doctor has specified

Precautions:

• Not recommended in patients with liver disease or a history of hepatotoxicity from NSAIDs
• Not to be used in children under 12 years of age
• Do not use for longer than the prescribed duration ? Nimesulide is strictly for short-term use

Possible Side Effects:
